Problem

A multinational corporation released their government relations staff and were left without anyone to help manage the Political Action Committee efforts or program during a critical election year.

Solution

We researched key candidates from both sides of the aisle with whom the company needed to have a relationship, analyzed the political giving trends of their competitors, and produced a plan. Once approved, IE secured meetings in Washington, DC for senior leadership with Members and Senators for PAC check distribution, prepared appropriate briefings, follow up material and thank you notes, coordinated and communicated with key office holder offices arranging to follow up meetings when Elected Officials were back in their district offices. An engagement report was prepared for PAC donors, employees, and the Board of Directors as well as a one-pager inviting others to support the company’s PAC efforts. The result: We stepped in to be a bridge at a critical time when the company needed it and strengthened the company’s civic relationships and efforts.
